At The Wood Co-op, we have a variety of different products and pieces available. Due to this fact we also have a number of ways that you can go about purchasing work from us; online or in the gallery. Generally, if we have an item in stock in the gallery the piece will ship to you within 3 weeks of receipt of your order. If the piece needs to be built for you, please be advised that this could take between 8 and 10 weeks plus shipping. The process and timeline of each order is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the availability of a given piece, or the current commitments of the artisan. Online Purchasing
If you would like to order something you have seen online, please fill out and submit our Website Order Form. This form outlines all the pertinent information, including the piece and artisan you are interested in, and your contact information.
One of our gallery assistants will contact you within 3 days of receipt of this information in order to confirm all the details of your order, arrange for shipping if necessary and process your payment information. If you require a shipping quote, the galley assistant will be able to provide you with it at that time. Please remember that you are not committed to ordering a piece until all the details have been confirmed and an agreement signed.
Furniture and Custom Orders
While we frequently have pieces available in our gallery space, many of the furniture pieces you see on this site would need to be ordered specifically for you. We also have the ability to arrange for custom orders of work thus giving you the opportunity to change dimensions or wood types or come up with a whole new design in order to fit your needs perfectly. If you are interested in ordering furniture, please be advised that this process takes some discussion in order to decide on all the particulars and that orders usually take between 8 - 10 weeks for delivery and varies between artisans. Shipping Information
The Wood Co-op has extensive experience shipping furniture and other wood products internationally. While many of our pieces can be shipped based on standard shipping rates as outlined in our Shipping rate form (PDF 36kb), other pieces (particularly furniture) require specific quotes.
We have a number of carriers we work with closely in order to find you the safest, most efficient and affordable shipping options. If you are interested in having a piece shipped, please fill out our Website Order Form and submit it to the gallery with your complete shipping address. We will be happy to search for shipping quotes for you on everything and anything we carry. Please remember that as research is involved with each shipping quote, it may take a few days to process. As soon as we have more information, one of our gallery assistants will contact you.
Return Policy
In Store Policy:
The Wood Co-op will accept returns for refund or exchange within 7 days of the purchase date. Returns for refund will be charged a 10% restocking fee, while exchanges will be issued a credit note for the full amount. A receipt is required for all returns.
Online Purchase Policy:
The Wood Co-op will gladly accept returns, as outlined above on items purchased online, within 7 days of receipt of the shipment. All returns must be shipped by the customer to the Wood Co-op and postmarked within 7 days of receipt of the work. Please contact The Wood Co-op at 1-877-966-3500 to notify us of the return, and for tips on the best way to return your purchase.
All shipping & handling fees are the responsibility of the customer, the initial and return shipping costs are non-refundable. The original receipt for the order must accompany all return shipments.
